My Experiment on the Internet

My raid bag

So, over at Of Teeth and Claws, Karthis posted his raid bag contents and asked others to do so as well. Looking at his list, I think I may be altering mine a little in the future but I figure changing it up before would be cheating .

I don't really have an organized raid bag but do have things I always carry and restock for raids, so a little re-org later, here is my raid bag.

Flintwood Seed - Reagent for Rebirth... For that time when you've really got to get whoever just died back up. Normally not something I use when tanking but on occasion there is enough breathing room to cast it.

Wild Quillvine - Reagent for Gift of the Wild. I tend to be buff happy and have timers to watch for it on the group, check before big pulls.

Super Mana Potion - For when I screw up and can't change to bear/cat. Or pop out of cat to cast a heal or something and need that something extra to get back to work.

Healing Potion Injector - Sometimes I need a potion and this way I can have 20 in one slot. Use with a macro that has on occasion saved my character. As long as you pay attention to the global cool downs you generally won't be standing there in Tauren (or Night Elf) form thinking, this next hit will be an embarrassing way to die. Our Engineer says the Fel Iron is nothing, so I send her 20 potions and a stack of Knothide Leather every once in a while. I have this macro prepped on my bar as well.

/cancelform [stance:1]
/use Healing Potion Injector
/use Master Healthstone
/cast [nostance] Dire Bear Form
/cancelform [stance:3]
/use Master Healthstone
/use Healing Potion Injector
/cast [nostance] Cat Form

Elixir of Major Agility - Awesome for Druid! It makes my dodge all happy. I used to use Flask of Fortification but once I hit my crit immune it was too expensive and I discovered the benefits of Agility.

Elixir of Major Defense - Used just because it looked good. I have been going without it more and more except on new boss fights as it didn't seem to bring all that much for the expense of buying it. Reading this post has made me consider some alternatives.

Violet Badge - Farming Kara and getting the others geared up. I only put it on for the Curator fight. Forget sometimes.

Drums of Battle - One of the main reasons I am still a Leatherworker. What's not to love "Use: Increases melee, ranged and spell haste rating on nearby party members by 80. Lasts 30 sec. Drums can be used while shape shifted. (2 Min Cooldown)"

Mok'Nathal Shortribs - Stamina food. Also common for the daily cooking quest, so when I run low, I farm a stack of 20.

Ravager Dog - Attack power food. Drops off one of the daily Netherwing quests and can be fun at times so I carry it around and use it while solo grinding.

Talbuk Steak - Alternative stamina food

Warp Burger - My favorite food, 20 Agility. When I get down to five, I farm them up while doing the Egg bombing daily.

Grilled Mudfish - 20 Agility food. I don't fish (lack of playing time) so when someone gives me this or the crawdads, I keep and use.

Everlasting Underspore Frond - Creates 10 edible Underspore Pods. (12 Hours Cooldown) I'm a mage food vendor with a really long cooldown!

Underspore Pod - Product of the above. Essentially a free mana biscuit. "Use: Restores 4410 health and 4410 mana over 30 sec."

Worg Carrier - What's a raid without your pets?

Red Smoke Flare - Buy from the Sky Guard guy in Blades Edge. Useful for indicating where you want people new to the raid to stand.

Heavy Netherweave Bandage - And for that time when you're a cat and things have not yet quite gone wrong and your potions are all on cool down and your healers think you're less important than that tank guy over there....

exilirs

i can make all the exilirs he talked about in "Of Teeth and Claws" if you get me the mats
